Going to get ultra-sound this afternoon.

Wondering if I have a torn rotator cuff, or possible a broken bone in my shoulder

Will let you know how it turns out.

Rotator cuff is ok.

No broken shoulder. I guess it is inside the shoulder tissue that is causing all of the pain. There is inflammation.

Got a scrip for tylenol4 with coedine this afternoon while seeing dr. Could hardly sleep last night because of the pain in the left should and arm.

Have a referral for a physio appointment. Hopefully in the next week and a half or so.

At least it will be free and from the hospital so they should know what they are doing.

Lucky break for me today.

I am so glad it isn't the rotator cuff. That is one nasty surgery. Shoulder surgery is hell, had to have it with both of my shoulders, some new bone growing where it shouldn't.

Physical therapy was a good thing, once I got past the beginning.

I so wish you all the luck I can, and very relieved for you hon.

Took the stronger pain med last night.

Slept better.

If I needed shoulder surgery the wait list for that procedure is 16 months here. Have a friend who is getting it at the end of this month. Is planning to take the month of October off of work.

I see such a determined and strong person in you. Keeping good thoughts and prayers that you don't have to go through surgery, that therapy will help. Keep us posted.

My shoulder is doing better today. I have used it some and it hasn't given the pain that it did earlier.

I didn't even take a pill last night to dull the pain.

Have been walking too much on the leg though. I think that I am not getting enough support, at my ankle, with the walking cast. The back of my ankle is hurting today. Mind you I was on my leg for quite a bit this afternoon, and I was twisting at my ankle.

Have really busy day tomorow.

In spite of having a busy day, where I didn't have my leg up much, things aren't doing too bad.

My football team played tonight, and won. Managed to keep the jumping up and down to a minumum (actually I don't think I jumped up at all in spite of it being a close game).

After it being up so much today, imagine that I will have to wait until tomorrow morning until I find out if I did any damage to it.

Still determined that I will drive when we go away (less than 2 weeks from today). Others are skeptical but I think I can do it.

Goodness knows that I wouldn't be able to navigate in Calgary. Can do the driving well but can't find my way out of a wet paper bag on my own.

Really glad you are taking care of yourself. I bet in your mind and spirit you were jumping all over the place, with the game. :)

LOL I am with you on 'directions'. Can you get a thing for that, 'tom-tom' is one of the names I have heard. They aren't really expenses and those that I know have them, swear by them. Something to check into.

I got faith in you, you WILL make this trip happen and have a very good time, wait and see.
