Depression Understood Forums

Evening Everyone,

I'm hoping you may be able to help me out on a little subject that is troubling me at the moment.

My boyfriend (of 4 months) seems to be suffering from undiagnosed depression. I have suffered from depression for about 8 years but I am at a complete loss of how to help him out. He's not interested in anything, including me which hurts, alot, if I'm honest. I'm trying not to let it all upset me too but it's hard.

What can I do to help him? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Since you have dealt with depression for several years, think back on someone that reached out and touch you, helped you deal things in maybe a better way. Perhaps do the same for him?

I would maybe, encourage him to see a doctor or therapist. They would be the best at knowing how to help him. Hope this helped.
