In regards to the stigma we all have attached to depression I'm really proud to be a part of trying to disipate it! I am part of a group that is going into schools and talking to kids about mental health awareness and the stigma that surrounds it. It's our second year but I have 4 presentations coming up in the next 2 months. It's amazing to watch the kids faces as they learn about depression and a new way to look at it. Its a small movement right now, but I've been seeing more and more things(like Monty's letter) that are speaking out and showing people that depression and mental health issues are no different then physical health issues.
