Ive had severe depression from childhood, i mean complete despair. Im 25 now, things have gotten somewhat better, i get real down sometimes but not like i used to. I guess now its more of just a constant apathy, no desires, lack of energy....im sure you know what im talking about.
ive never seeked help before, im on prozac now but it doesnt help. Ive been trying to get in with a therapist but becuase of insurance being very busy, it hasnt happened yet.
So im sure you all have some experience with this.
Now my major problem is this mood, im always in. Im always and have always been in. Its like this withdrawn, inward, NO PERSONALITY, dont want to be around by anyone, cant connect with anyone mood. Plus a lack of motivation and passion. In this mood, its like my brain is foggy and tired. I cant hold a conversation, im really introverted.
Now there have been times recently, not very often, maybe a few days a month. When im not in this mood. Im lighthearted, can talk to people, enjoy things and enjoy life. But not very often and in fact, ive never felt that in my whole life until the last few years.
Now if you know anything about this PLEASE answer my question:
Has anyone experienced this or know what im talking about? Do you think its depression? Could it be depression or is it just my personality, ive always been this way? Is there any hope out of this, medication? to feel like i do on those rare occasions more often??
I dont know how ive made it this long, life is pain.
Thanks
Please have an answer for me

Hye Dear, I think you are undergoing mild depression. It happens to lot of people. And I understand how difficult it is to lead a normal life in this state.
You do say somedays you are completely normal and feel like going out and talking to people. So u need to maintain a jounal about how you feel everyday and make note of your mood upsets. What really caused your mood swings ? wjhat made you feel better. If you have someone who is close to u you can discuss it with them. It will give a clear picture oif what's happening in your life. You are still young and you can surely come out of it and enjoy ur life.
