When the going gets tough
I was told by my boyfriend to just be happy, and overcome issues etc. But I can't do this overnight perfectly. He tells me to do this while yelling at me. However, it isn't easy when a person with mental diseas has just started on the path to recovery, to just change everything suddenly. It's been years since I got this depression, PTSD, & panic disorder & I just barely got onto the path to recovery. He needs to realize I'm trying my very best. I feel worn out as hell & need a lot of talking through issues to get over or work these things out in my mind in order to completely fix them & adjust to normal life again. I am now starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel because I can feel emotions again. There was a time I was numb & couldn't feel a thing. I didn't feel alive. Now that emotions are coming back, I'm having to get used to them & this can be difficult especially if it was years of built up sadness that I hid from myself, so I wouldnt have to feel pain.
