Still with depression

Postby Warmsoul/Jeanie13 » Mon Jul 16, 2007 7:08 am

We all live with this dreaded "depression", just wondering how everyone was/is doing. Still going here, trying is a better word. How about you?

Trying is a better word, I would say I am struggling right now, but have been for most of my life unfortunately.

Annie, my heart goes out to you. The struggle seems endless, doesn't it? About the time your feelings rise, depression takes over again. A constant circle it seems, with no beginning nor end in sight. Well that is what I feel.

Feel free to post here, it helps to get the inner feelings to the surface at times.

Enjoy this sharing of post with you. Thank you.

I never know what is going to trigger my depression. Sometimes it's nothing at all. I try to see the positives in life, thats how I get through the day. Its just when that doesn't work, that I get blue. Here's to positive thinking!

Depression is such a nasty thing that creeps up upon you, even at your strongest and destroys everything and everyone around you.
I hate the way it can dictate your life to you!

I totally agree: depression is such a powerful and nasty illness.

Depression can destroy so much -- more than a lot of physical illnesses in my opinion.

Hopefully by talking about our various manifestations of depression, we can lower its hold on us.
