Help

Postby Lilolilolilo » Thu Mar 13, 2014 11:45 pm

I dont know if im depressed or not. And i do not want to talk to my parents or family. I do know its getting harder. Im losing hope. Im just so tired all the time. I feel like there is no getting better. This is the most my life will be and the most it can be is nothing. I will laugh and everythings alright then suddenly i just dont want to try and i have to struggle to not cry in public. I need someone who can say something or do something to help me snap out of it. Because right now im down and i dont know if i have the energy or will to try.

Hello Lilo,

It is great that you found this forum and I hope writing down how you feel will help you feel a little better and clearer to finding a solution to your problems.

Is there some specific making you unhappy or do you just wake up feeling drained everyday? It is ok not to feel 100% all the time. You say you are feeling tired all the time, are you having trouble sleeping at night or are you oversleeping?

Lilo, I totally understand you not wanting to tell your parents and that's OK! There are tons of resources out there that can get you help without involving your parents. Talk to your school councilor (after making them promise not to tell your parents). They are actually surprisingly helpful and understanding. They are there to help you! They can provide you with skills that you can implement in your day to day life. There are also tons of online tips and tricks, most of which actually work. Don't let your hopelessness consume you! Free yourself! Stay strong!
