Depression Understood Forums

I can't really write much about me now, just had depression and
PTSD for years. I'm disabled, and live in Kansas (which is enough to
depress anybody, lol). Turning into more of a hermit the last few
years. Not much else to say.

I do love the chat, and try to be around most evenings and late
night US time.

Thanks Stephen! I really love the chat (and the whole site, for that
matter).

Think I'm losing my mind, I've been kicking around the idea of
starting a blog. It might make a good sleeping pill for insomniacs or
something!

Oh, blogs can be helpful I think Steve (not in order to put one to sleep though!).

Let me know what you decide, maybe the new site could accommodate it?

That's worth a thought, Stephen, it seems like an ideal place for a
blog!

No idea where it might lead, but it'd be interesting.

Never did a "blog", sounds very scary to me.

Just wanted to say it is nice being able to talk with both of you in the evenings. Not so alone when that happens.

Yes, I think it's well worth a thought Steve (as we talked about last night). I'll work on setting up a blog utility on the new site... sorry for any delay as I can only work on it in my spare time.

It sounds kind of terrifying, the more I think about it.. I don't know if I'll ever do anything or not.

I've never tried the chat and actually with my lot of meds these days I might not be there in a hurry plus the kids grab the computer however, maybe one of these good days I might surprise you all ... how about that?

I actually started out looking for just a good depression support chat, and found this whole wonderful site, chat and all. It's been a blessing for me!

Anyway, I hope you do pop in on us sometime. Just watch out for the resident chat-hog (me).
