Depression Understood Forums

Hi my name is justin i am a prior marine i am a 26 year old male living in Sacramento CA i suffer from ptsd and major depression and schizophrenia as well but i do not agree with it but must admit i do have some of the symptoms. i struggle every day with wanting to die and survivors guilt even though i only lost one person close to me in combat but i did not actually see combat. I have a great girlfriend who is very supportive of me who lives in New York its long distance but we have been together for 5 years now and seen each other twice. Ill post something in depth about me that may be a little triggering to others in some areas but i feel it will help others get to know me better anyways i hope things go well here i feel i might be singled out like i was all my life but i am trying to get passed that fear thank you for your time.

Hi Justin. I've seen you around the room. I'm so glad you joined us here as well. (((((((Justin)))))))). Glad you girlfriend is supportive of you. If you don't agree with your dx don't hesistate to get a second opinion.

it is mildly hard to get any out of the va dx that the va will except i have a compensation exam that is coming up soon so just going with what they told me is wrong with me i do not think it will go well but could just be me.
