Talking is difficult, but a short introduction would be a polite thing for me to do if I'm going to be a member here.
My experience with depression began with a temporary depression that eventually lessened with time during the '80s.
Recently I've had that numb feeling: lost interest in things I once enjoyed, sleep disruptions, and weight loss. I haven't done much right in about two years. Talking is difficult for me.
I've been taking whatever temporary jobs I can muster since 2006 and my husband is supporting me. My insurance company is self contracted and it gives a wellness discount if no illnesses are diagnosed during the year. It's the one that is known for cancelling plans if it can scrounge an excuse. At any rate, I can't afford to be diagnosed with depression.
Sharing with fellow sufferers will save me sooner. Thank you for listening.
