Hi. Married with 2 kids and 1 grandson. I've been suffering with depression and anxiety for awhile. I've had counseling for grief , mental health, family drama, work and more. I feel like im wasting people's time and just feeling like it's all in my head and not important enough. Just don't feel worth anything. Not enough to hurt myself.

Counseling can help but i think having a good strong support system is more effective. You are welcome to join our live chatroom to connect with others who understand and in real-time too.
Chatroom:
https://support.depression-chat-rooms.org/?#depressionThere are a lot of people out there who feel like this. It's not just "in your head" and it is important. We struggle with things that are sometimes hard for people to understand or empathize with because they can't see it or haven't been through it. For most people if they can't see it or haven't experienced it themselves it's not there. This isn't true though. Battling with mental health issues like depression and axiety can take over someone's life before they know it. Cause them to feel like they're stuck and are just lost. Our community understands this deeply. You aren't alone.

You are experiencing depression and anxiety after a loss, family, and work stress. Feeling “unworthy” or “a bother to others” is a common sign of depression, but your pain is real and important. The fact that you are still sharing and seeking help shows that you are strong.
Continue to talk to a trusted person or professional, keep up the small things that bring you comfort, and don’t hesitate to seek support when you feel overwhelmed. If thoughts of harming yourself arise, call an emergency number (in the US it’s 988 or I can help you find the number in your country).
You deserve help and love — it doesn’t have to be “severe enough” to be cared for.

You’re not wasting anyone’s time — your feelings matter, and reaching out shows real strength. Keep talking and seeking support.
