Hi you two! I am Carkie. I am usually found around the site sporadically. But lately, since my dad is terminally ill and in the hospital, my time is spent at home or at the hospital. No time for my laptop. Started to come here more though since things have settled a bit. Needing the support a lot right now.

xn728: That's so neat you fly a plane! How hard is it to get a pilots license for something like that? would be neat to learn to fly

Lovely to meet you and great to have you with us. I sound like I have been here ages but infact it has only been a couple of days but I already love it. The people are great, so much support and by the sounds of it you will be an asset to the group.

Sorry to hear about your dad, I expect there will be many times when you just need to come here and vent. I will look forward to trying to help you.

How is it in Canada, I am in the UK and it is overcast and raining!!!!!!!

hi gang ,missed you all yesterday ,made myself poorly ,i have a judinal ulser ,and irittable bowel syndrone ,i dont normally mention these things so this is the first and last time ,anyway a company owes me 500 pound bond that i should have had returned ,but they are messing me about ,i had a really aggressive phone call with them yesterday ,and this really upset my stomach ,i have felt really down today ,and i wasnt going to come here ,i felt as if i had let everybody down by being deppressed ,ive realised it was only cos of the phone thing ,and not the visitor ,so i,ll let myself off the hook .i hope you are all ok ,i wish we could all be together were we could chat without these big pauses ,i know we cant its ok ,im just so enthuiastic about this place ,you may fined it hard to believe ,but i dont have any friends in my world ,thats why i worry about not being able to come here ,it will pass ,im ok ,hey Haitch im in the uk to ,south yorkshire ,i live on an estate ,run down and surrounded by drug users ,they have done me no harm but it can be intimadating ,my car alarm was set off once ,i went out to have a look what was happening ,there was some youths leant on my car talking ,i asked them to move. and was was given a good hiding by 4 of them , any way im gonna see if i can catch up on some more posts ,your friend/my friends i cannot see you ,but my arms surround you all xn728,KEN

Hi, I know what you mean about being able to chat without the pauses, and I log on normally during the day at work as this is where I get more privacy. I am going to try and log on a few evening but I also go to bed quite early as my alarm goes off at 5.30am. I am one of those that needs atleast 8 hrs sleep or I am a nightmare!!!!

Xn728 I am in Kent, sorry to hear about your experience with the youths, it can be like this anywhere now, kids are very different, I would never hv spoken to an adult they way they do now, we have given them to much freedom I feel, stopping teachers from punishing kids, making parents scared to smack their children because they now have all these rights!!! I was smacked as a child and I turned out Okish!!!! I know children need protecting, I feel this more because of my experiences when I was little but i still feel we have gone to far the other way!!!!!

Hope you are feeling better now XN728, you shouldn't feel like you let us down, we are all going to fall every now and again and I know you would be the first to help and forgive so you need to try and show yourself some of your amazing compassion.

Like how you started your postings with us with the "Carkiecopter" Sounds like you will be a fun addition to our group.

I am also from Canada. Actually from the west, where we have snow in the forecast for tomorrow morning. I don't know which part you are from. Hopefully you are getting better long weekend than us. We joke that we got our summer, yesterday, our weather has been so poor.

I am also very dedicated to the environment. Whether you are religious or not (and sometimes I am not) I believe that it is our job to take care of our Mother Earth the best way we can. Don't let me get on a rant about alternative fuels.

Smoking is a pet peeve with me also. Once I went into a store, and the staff was smoking just outside the door. I found it so objectionable that I phoned the store, told them how disgusting I thought it was. Turns out that the store changed it's policy and now the staff have to smoke well away from the doors.

You'll have to educate me as to the comedian Russell Brand. Know I could use google, but would rather hear from one of his fans.

hey there Haitch ,nice to hear from you ,Kent hey not that far away really
about an hr and half by car ,and about 15 minutes in the lightening and 200 gallons of fuel ,i also love the rain i like to be out in it ,It falls to earth and touches the souls of loved one as it passes through the air ,and i feel them touching my face and i feel fresh and peaceful ,the birds carry the
drops on there wings ,and as they flie into the air the souls are realised back into the air ,were they wait for the rain to fall again ,i love the wind to ,that carries a million souls vioces calling out ,so they can speak to there loved ones ,and tell them ,they are always with them , its the way i see things ,it helps me live in this ,we,ll lets go somewere else ,russell brand is so funny ,exelent ,any way ,i will siqn off for now ,,,,,,,xn728 KEN
