Hi people, im Stu fromEssex

Been suffering since around 1997, had help since 2017 but still suffering and not always in the best place, need to hook up with people i can talk to & understand, for me this a big move as i have kept my problems hidden for a long time

I find it more than hard to face the world every day, i find excuses not to go work, talk to people or engage in things i love to do, i need to chat to people who understand

Looking to chat as well. I am so down and don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. Very depressed and find it hard to press on every day.

Hi Stu,
I to applaud your bravery. I just started seeing a therapist for the first time regarding my depression and anxiety. It's a tough thing to get started. And I just joined this forum. Looking forward in chatting with people of the same tribe and trying to help each heal through the process.

Hello, I know how you feel. I’ve been depressed all my life. Most people wouldn’t know it, I hide it well..but when I’m not at work, I’m in bed, hard to get up every morning.

Hi & thank you to the peeps that replied to me, sorry for not comming back to you guys sooner.
After i had posted on here i wasnt sure i did the right thing, so avoided checking any replies til today, im so sorry.
still not doing so good but im still here & functioning (just about)

Hi Im Jim new here to for the same reason. chronic depression and anxiety for over 30 years, Its crushing me right now and I would love to chat to.
