Lifelong Battle

Postby kim » Fri Jan 01, 2016 10:07 am

My family has a history of depression. Not Just brothers and sisters. Uncles and aunts, cousins, everyone. I thought I could beat it then realized I am I just hide it better. I'm afraid no one will notice. With the meltdown on my marriage, which wasn't real great, I have gotten so much worse. I'm confused about where I fit in. I feel to old to start over. I don't know if I'm really good at being alone.

Sounds common kim. Mental health runs in my family as well. It's tough isn't it. Adding an ending to a major relationship is one of the most heart and gut wrenching human experiences there are next to or along with the death of a loved one. Feeling you dont know where you fit is exactly what I would expect you would be feeling (comping from a life of depression myself). Just know here at least- you're not in this alone
