Hi. I.m Laura. I'm 39 years old, and live in Canada. I was "diagnosed" with clinical depression eight years ago, Although my mother had said I was depressed since I was a child. I agree. I'm on Paxil, which seems to have stopped it's effectiveness. When my current blackness lifts a touch, I will be switching. Don't need to wean myself off of my ADs NOW :lol:

I have experienced a few losses (mostly through death), which made it almost impossible for me to function. I could go on and on, but will move to the "MY Story" thread.

Glad you found this forum, really a nice place to talk, share, and support. As is the chat room that is connected to this room.

Give it a visit, you will find wonderful and caring people that live with depression daily. It does help to talk to others that truly understand this part of our lives.

Sorry that you, as well, deal with depression. Find that there is help talking with others that do understand.
