Depression Understood Forums

Subject line says it all. I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself briefly. My life is completely off the rails and I needed some people to talk to maybe help me figure out what to do with myself. Used to be a member of another forum for the teetering but the owner pussed out and shut it down. Didn't help much but I sometimes wonder which ones are still alive and which aren't.

Anyway, I'm me and that ain't much. I'm gonna go to the Your Story section now and get down to the over-sharing I came here to do. I want to give up but I'm too weak to face life and too scared to face death. Wish I could just sleep for a few years.

You aren't weak at all, you are strong. This shows you a the strong as you know you need help and you support, that shows a lot of courage and strength within you.

Depression does make us feel "weak"... But we have to keep on telling ourselves we are "strong", we can "fight" this illnesses, because we can. You need I have faith within yoursel and have faith within god, he will heal you and make you strong and better again.
Give it time.
