Hi. What a hard move that must have been for you! I'be always lived in the same metroplex so I can only empathize. However I moved back into my parents house at 38 to take care of my sick father who passed away a year ago. It is very hard taking care of someone. Probably even more so with your in laws. Please try to remember that what you are doing is worthwhile And find even small amounts of time to take breaks and do what you enjoy. I am here to talk if you would like.

Hey sea_breeze, moving city is hard enough, moving country must have been a real culture shock, and helping others whilst trying to cope yourself is never easy is it? Depression affects every part of your life, that's what i really hate about it myself, and is hard enough to keep a relationship going never mind looking after the in-laws too.
I hope joining here has helped a little, i'm on here and another board and hope the support will help me a bit. See ya around, and enjoy our lovely British weather

Hi Sea_breeze and welcome to the forum. Congratulations, Sea_breeze on your marriage. You are dealing with some major changes...a marriage, a country re-location, and taking care of aging parents. I admire your courage and strength. All 3 are very hard for most people. If you have not done so, I invite you to check out our chat room as well. Chat is another resource to share your feelings and exchange information. I look forward to hearing more from you, sending a strong hug.
