have you tried bupropian?

Postby thisisit » Sun Jan 08, 2012 3:43 pm

I am hoping someone else might be able to help me. I can't seem to get real answers from my doctor. I am taking bupropiam (Wellbutrin) for mild depression. At first my doctor had given me prozac but I turned in to a zombie and was unable to function. Now I am trying the bupropian but don't think its working. Plus what I believe are my side effects are all the exact opposite of what everyone else says theyvexperience. I have put onabout thirty pounds in the last two and a half months that I've been on it. I also feel ridiculously unmotivated to do anything. I can sit on the middle of a messy room and rather than bug the kids to pick it up I just add to he mess. I don't care. I don't care how I look and don't feel like doing a thing. All this is very unlike me. I was thinking I should sloenown the dosage and/or just stop taking it but im worked about what that might do. Has anyone had any similar expeienxes to me? Just a more hat I started with 150 do age once a day for a week and am now taking 300. Than:-) ks for any help you cn give me.

Hi thisisit

Perhaps go into our Depression-Understood chat room and ask. Lots of chatters there giving support. Sure there will be others that take the meds you are talking about and could share what they have experienced. Just a thought.

I haven't tried that particular med personally. but please try to remember we all have a different physiology and will react to the same meds differently. If it's not working for you personally or if you are having bad side affects, you need to talk to your doctor.
