Hi everyone! :-)

Postby KittenCatLover » Mon Nov 21, 2011 1:09 pm

Hi everyone! My name is Emily. I'm 24 years old. I have a kitten named Tacoma that is the only thing that's keeping breathing. She's my angel sent from above! I love her more than life itself. I'm a college student that will graduate next semester with my Criminal Justice A.S degree. I want to work in Juvenile Corrections. I'll then get started in right on my A.S Personal Trainer degree. I tend to live a very active life. I TRY and get to the gym 3-4 times a week. I work with a trainer also. She has helped a lot! Other then that I like to pamper my boyfriend and watch movies with him. Of course play with my kitten too! :D I have battled with depression, anxiety, and suicidal tendencies my whole life. I feel as if I have been through every negative event that could possible happen. All I'm looking for is a supportive place that I can go to get feedback, try and give some back, and to talk with people. Try not to feel so alone. If anything I will blog the most. I'm hoping this is the place! See you all around the site!

Welcome KittenCatLover,

This. as the chat room, is a wonderful place with many caring people. I am pleased you found us.

I am another cat lover. Very large Bombay black cat with yellow eyes. Name is Ebony. He runs this home, trust me, but he can be lovable. He is amazing knowing when I am ill. At those times he stays very close to me.

Hope to see you posting more.

Warmsoul

I've seen a picture of Warmies cat in the gallery. So beautifull. There's pics of my cats too if you'd like to check them out Emily. :)

Hi (((( KittenCatLover )))), welcome to the forum! :)
I've found this site to be very supportive, and it's certainly helped me to " manage " my depression/anxiety better. I hope that you'll find the same.
I have to make a shameful admission... , I suspect that I'm not really a " cat-person ". Perhaps, it's because cats just seem to be more confident than I am? :? Or perhaps cats just seem to know more than I do? :? Or, perhaps it's because cats just seem far more self-sufficient than humans? 8) I'm not sure that it would boost my self-esteem much to have a pet that could manage perfectly well without me...!
In fact there is a saying in this part of the world: " Dogs have owners, cats have staff ". :)
But, it's not my fault! My parents didn't have a cat! I never got a chance to learn to be a " cat-person "! I deserve pity, not condemnation!!!!
Seriously, though, (((( KittenCatLover )))), welcome again to the forums. I hope that you'll feel comfortable posting as much or as little as you feel that you want to.

(((((((((((( TackingIntoTheWind )))))))))))))))

LOL, but... dogs need loads of attention, almost demanding at times. Cats, well my Ebony that is, has this attitude...

1. Keep food and water out.
2. Leave toilet lid up.
3. Leave me the hell alone.

We get along just fine. ;)

Warmie
