Hi,

I'm Polish. I live in UK 3 years.

I suffered of depression nearly 7 years.

Sometimes I feel very well, sometimes not. Like today. I don't know why I feel nervous, sad and lonely. I just can't find a reason. The weekend is beginning, my family will be with me... and I'm sad.

I didn't know what to do that's why find on google this page and I wrote.

Hi busymom. Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry you have been suffering for so long. Have you spoken to a counselor? Gotten any meds to help you thru this?

Hi Busymum

I know how bad it feels. My current problems started about 5 weeks ago and I cannot now get out of bed in morning and feeling very frightened about the future. I have suffered from bi-polar depression since I was 19

It is good you have family because there is nothing more important to you than family and the support they can give you.

I can understand how you feel regarding "what to do" because I feel that there is not much support from NHS; especially from busy doctors. It seems no-one has anytime for anyone anymore. I only found this site today. I have found that looking on the forums is stopping me focusing on what is causing me my stress and ultimately my depression.

My hope is that I find some people to converse with who will help me overcome this, what seems, a desperate time. I do hope you get something out ths forum. Best regards J

hi jimscot. glad you found us. Oftentimes i find it helps me alot to be able to listen to someone else and try to help them instead of sitting back and dwelling on my own troubles. I hope this site does this for you too.

Thanks for reply Obayan. Yes, your right about listening to others. I spend so much time on my own and am getting unwell because lots of negative things going on in my life right now. I don't know how to get myself back.

regards

Jim
