Depression Understood Forums

Hi, I have been suffering from depression since my teenage years. I been trying to deal with this by myself until this year when I couldn't do it alone anymore and seek medical help.

I am not much of a social butterfly, so I really don't have any real true friends I could run to except one person. I decided to join the site to see/find help and meet other people that understand where I am coming from.

A little bit about myself, I am a 22 year old college student, right now I am unemployed.

I hope to meet new friends online and maybe have a better understanding of who i am with this depression.

Welcome to the forums, I think you will see support from others. Sometimes a little slow on replies, not all are comfortable with posting.

We have a depression chat room attached with this forum, if you feel up to going in. Lots of chatters and very supportive and understanding with the issues you deal with, for they do the same.
