Well, to make it short and sweet (or bitter haha?)
I'm 19 and I've been through multiple major spinal surgeries with multiple near death occurrences. Somehow I always made it out fine and to this day I've been lucky enough to still be able to use my hands and feet. You could say I'm almost normal physically.
This last surgery was supposed to help with my nerve pain, and to my disappointment it hasn't changed much. The constant pain inside is alright at first, but it becomes unbearable, like a constant nag that never goes away and stops you from doing everything. I've been through depression before, but never like this, this time it feels permanent.
It's definitely an obstacle that I want to get rid of so that I can get back to my life. Even though I center in on everything that's wrong, a small part of me knows that life is worth living for, and I don't want to let go of that.
Well this wasn't exactly short, sorry for that. I hope this forum will help me see more of what I need to see.
Always enjoy the little things in life, cheers =)
Hi, time to let it out

Hi vw,
Welcome to the forums. We have chatters that give of themselves with support, great people! Just so you know we do have a chat room connected with this site, if you want to go in and chat with even more caring people.
I am sorry you are having such issues with your spine. Have had a couple of surgeries on mine, and no it doesn't always stop all the pain. Guess we learn to deal with what ever we have. Hope you have meds to help you with the pain.
You are right, we should and thank you for sharing that thought.
