I'm new

Hi everyone. I'm 20 years old and I live in a really small town that's in the middle of a cornfield in Illinois. It seems like I've always had to deal with hard stuff and I've always been sadder and more emotional than everyone else. I think my depression took the turn for the worse when my dad died in July 2009. I've had alot of trouble adjusting to my life in the past few years . . . I joined this forum thing because I wanted to talk to someone who would get it. I don't think anyone around me does.
