Hello Forums

Hi, I'm RockStarInHeart and I am new to the forums. I am 26, the parent of two adorable dogs, a 2-year-old American bulldog named Buster and a 1-year-old Boxer named Louie. They are my heart and soul, what keeps me going many days.
I'm here on Depression Understood because I have suffered with depression since college and panic disorder/anxiety since I was 16. I have what I think is hormonally-related depression as I an typically depressed two weeks out of the month unless something happens to send me spiraling down the dark hole of misery. I take an anti-depressant (Cymbalta) daily but it does nothing for those two weeks that I spend more depressed than usual.
I'm here for the camaraderie of the chat rooms and am going to see what these forums are all about.
