Hi from an irish guy.

Hi everybody,

Gosh!, I don't know what to say, alright then.

I'm a very lonely guy from Ireland, that fully intends to take my life within a year. I'm staying around for another year, because I promised a friend. In fact if it wasn't for her, I'd probably be dead within a month.
I crave to be loved so much, it hurts so much every day because I'm unloved.

Amazingly for a lonely guy, I think I'm very good with lonely people. I have a weird sense of humour, but seem to make everyone I know laugh.

So again, hello!.

you're not alone

Hi,

I'm a newcomer to the forum. I just want to say that you're not alone. I think that as human beings we all crave to be loved and accepted for
who we are. We can choose to share our knowledge with others to provide light in the darkness.

I'm a shy, sensitive person who is very isolated due to my depression
and poor social skills. I understand the pain of loneliness and being
misunderstood. However, in spite of life's pain, there is joy in little things.
It's possible to find meaning in life to give you hope and sustain you.
Some people choose God, other people find meaning in the beauty of art
and philosophy. I find awe and wonder in the beauty of the night sky.

Sorry for rambling. I'm here to talk if you want. As I said, you're not alone.

Hi NiceGuYEire, welcome to the forums. I am sorry to read that you are so lonely. I hope here you will feel less alone. Life can be lonely but there are ways to cope with that loneliness. I hope you will consider talking to a doctor soon if you are feeling as you do. Dealing with your issues in such a permanent way as you describe is not a good choice. There are many here who suffer depression and related anxiety. Please keep posting and know you are not alone. Hugs

Hi, I am lonely too..terribly and I know what your feeling. I have been alone for 10 years, for the most part..Just raising two kids by myself..You are not alone in how you feel. You live in Ireland! I think I would be happier if I lived in a beautiful country like Ireland..Go out and enjoy the beauty and do things you like and have faith that things will get better..
