Hello all,
I've joined the forums to talk to like-minded people who suffer from depression. I haven't sought after any treatment because I generally find that I can cope. It does make me feel alienated from my friends from time to time. For that reason, I think it can be beneficial to talk to other people on the same wavelength, even if it is across the internet.
I'm a 21 year old law student from England. I'm also interested in music (piano and percussion - particularly tuned percussion), music theory and anything to do with The Smiths.

Hi Blue,
Welcome to DU and the forums. I can't say enough good things about keeping music a part of your life. Not only can it be a great stress reducer, but the added joy life long is tremendous. Music Theory, ...well worth the time. If you enjoy music and play an instrument, studying theory opens so many windows and doors in your mind. It makes the enjoyment and appreciation of music increase.
I hope you keep posting and do check out our chat room here as well. Best of luck to you.
