I'm new at this...

and I'm gong through a tough time right now. I'm 27 and I just recently went back to college to get my degree in special education. I'm having a hard time in my life right now and I didn't really know who to talk to. I though a forum seemed like a pretty good idea.

A bit about me:
I really love animals. I have two pet rats, a dog, and three cats. They were all rescues. I'm married and my second anniversary is coming up this august. I really enjoy reading, movies, and video games. It's really nice to meet you all and, well, I guess that's it.

Hi Dantiax, nice to meet you, and welcome. Congratulations on your new marriage and upcoming 2nd anniversary. I wish you both much happiness. Returning to school after a hiatus can be both exhilirating and a tough challenge. I returned to graduate at exactly the same age you are now. I felt like such an old lady surrounded by 21 year olds fresh out of college. It is wonderful to hear that you have found an interest in special education. The field is so growing and the need for good special teachers is huge. Even the private schools which do not receive the state funding for special education programs have found that to be competitive they must offer special ed services these days. The work is very hard but I hope you willl find it rewarding. Best of luck to you and I look forward to hearing more, take care.

Welcome DantiaX! Good for you on making te decision to go back to school! Also, I admire your interest in special education field, such a meaningful and rewarding field! Going back to school is very tough and time consuming, be sure to make some time just for you, to relax and enjoy those hobbies. Take care and keep posting!
