Hey everyone!

Y'all can call me Skip. =]

I've led quite an interesting life. I'm a really friendly guy, and I love to help others....I've always had this cheerful, unseriousness about me to the point where people would really be surprised if they saw anythin' else.

But, heh, these days what I feel on the inside ain't always what it appears to be.

I ain't sure what happened, but I seem to be struggling with some pretty nasty depression of late, and when I looked up information, I came across this site!

Thought it would be a good place to be, not only for some support, but to provide such to others as well. : ]

Hi Skip welcome to the forum I'm glad you found us. Post away. And feel free to use the chat along with this site. A lot of us know how thing are on the inside isn't what we feel on the inside. You're in good company here. Nice to meet you.

I too wear many masks...

I feel more comfortable posting here than talking to real people about things.. In real life I'm judged, and told to "shake it off" or "get over it". Here people really seem to understand, and have more empathy toward the things I'm dealing with.

Nice to meet you! I'm Eric, and you seem like a fun, free-spirited person, but unfortunately depression knows no limits to who it attacks. Glad you came here and feel comfortable sharing with us here. I hope your pain eases quickly. All of us will make it through our trials; it's just hard to be patient for that.
