hello

Postby here » Wed Jul 06, 2011 4:17 pm

Just introducing myself.

After years of deliberation I am convinced my course of action is the best one, and knowing how deeply I tend to get involved with a caring community as you have here, for now I am probably not going to post much and stay at a bit of a distance.

I am uncomfortable discussing my private struggles and tend to feel too much of other's pain when I am connected, so for now, I am just 'here' and watching/reading.

EDIT: also, what is "triggering" that often appears after the subject in some posts?

Hi Here. Welcome to the forum. I understand you wanting your privacy. And yes it is a caring community here. If you choose not to post much that is okay. I just hope the things you are reading helps.

Feeling others pain is hard, And its hard to know boundaries but sometimes its necessary to put yourself first so that you are able to handle things of others more easily.

The Triggering or Triggering Material you see is if there is a sensitive topic, that could trigger (Make someone have a bad reaction.) Such things are talk of si, thoughts of suicide, or talk of abuse. These things are put up so the people reading know to be aware that they might find such a topic. And if they know they are up to reading it or not. I hope this explanation helps you.
