For half a year, I've been having extreme lows (which my therapist thinks is depression), one of which almost resulted in my suicide. In desperation, my mother insisted that I see a therapist. I've only been seeing a therapist for a month. With slipping grades, my therapist thinks that antidepressants will be something to help me greatly. At the moment, I'm a mess and I'm struggling to cope, so that is what led me here. I'm hoping that having people that can relate to talk to will help me greatly. Hello, all. :)

Welcome to the forum. There are supportive chatters here as well as the chat room. Hope you give both a chance.

There are many meds out there that will help. Please talk this out with your therapist, you never know unless you ask.
