Thanks Tink. I do in fact have no less than four journals. I have what I call the "no holds bared journal" where I right everything as it comes to my mind. It is in point form and often may only have one word in a sentance. It is a mad jumble of feelings and thoughts that basicly resembles my brain. I have another journal which is more organized and outlines things more clearly. I have another where I only put positive thoughts and ideas. I try and find something that brought a smile to my face that day or made me feel happy and I record it. Failing that I enter a quote or poem that appeals to me. Finaly, I have one that is just for notes. I use it to write down ideas from others or articles I've read that I think can help me to get better. whew, no wonder I'm so tired. But I do agree journaling is good. Aside from it being a usefull tool for a therapist. I find when I poor out my feelings into it, it makes me feel lighter.
