Hi, new here, could do with talking to somebody

Postby Grey » Wed Mar 04, 2015 8:53 am

I spend a great deal of time alone in my life, some days I barely say more than a sentence. I have a lot of stressful stuff going on in my life right now and it's hard for me to cope with it, at least in a positive way.

I think I could just do with an online friend. Just somebody to talk to about pretty much any topic, anything from general hobbies, interests and opinions, to maybe more personal stuff.

I'm . . . I'm not trying to come across odd in any way, I genuinely just want to spend some time with somebody and actually have a conversation, no more to it than that.

As I said, I'm new here, not really sure on the rules as such, so I apologise if 've done something I shouldn't have. I'm very alone, at times I just talk to myself to hear myself say something. Anyways, I hope that somebody either reads this and replies, or messages me privately.

Hi
I am sorry that nobody has replied to you. I know exactly how you feel. Somedays I go without a word to anyone. I actually sometimes feel invisible. A lost soul!! I would love to have a friendship that I can chat to sometimes, just to ease the loneliness. If you are still on the same wavelength, just let me know. See what happens.

Here's hoping

Hey Grey. Nice to hear from you. Why don't you tell us about yourself maybe? I came here for help with my son.

He has chronic depression issues, and I am just not equipped to handle things like that well. I have never been chronically depressed, I had a rough break up once, and we lost a child, but I moved on.

I am an engineer and a former Marine, so that probably gives you a pretty good idea how I view the world.

Other than that? mostly just do the dad thing. Learning to play the ukulele. Like country music. Like a good laugh. bout it.

Anyway, nice to meet you.
