Hi

Postby CarolynS » Mon Nov 10, 2014 11:42 am

I am Bipolar II ( severe depression, social anxiety, terrible isolatetion. I have lived alone for 30 years. I finally got past being lonely long ago, know I just want the world to leave me alone and I watch it go by outside my small living room window. I should be walking to the city park daily a block from my home, but I dont.

A year ago I had been going to church. I dropped off the church board after two years of a three year term, I stopped managing the nursery after four years and I stopped go to the monthly daytime social group.

I stopped the two weekly NAMI Peer Support Group facilitator group http://www.NAMI.org, I enjoyed this volunteer job that was good for me. One was on Friday. The other was in the psychiatric hospital near my home.

I have been hospitalized three times just this years. Like msny of us, I have no family support. I have never bothered them about my mental illness. They dont want to hear it anyway. I have a daughter who lives 10 miles away. Our ministers visited me in August, and I have not heard from them since.

Our ministers visited me in August, but I have not heard from them again.

I propose that is enough :)

Good to hear from you CarolynS.

Is there a reason you are stopping church, peer group?

Any thoughts on calling your ministers back?

No support from the hospital?

Anything you want to write about?
