I have struggled with depression my whole life it seems. It is hard for me to open up about this but I hope to meet people here who can relate to me and understand how I feel. Just making this introduction makes me feel like I am not alone anymore.

I am fighting with depression, and posting here often makes me think like I'm winning.

I get strength from this site .... but the real fight happens after I log off.

I like to think of this site as the gatorade jug on the sidelines. Let me take this opportunity to dump the gatorade on you for posting!

Yes, if you went to any other forum, and started talking about your depression, most of the people reading that, would not understand it, would not want to hear about it, and might quickly label you as a whiner....

But here, "everyone" knows exactly what your talking about !

We can ALL relate !
