I'm 50 and have been dealing with A.D.D. and depression Since I was 13.
I'm crashing from my Effexor and wanted to know I'm not alone, lol.
I feel ashamed because I've messed up my life but more importantly to me
I've messed up my best friend my dog through inaction. I have vowed to go
To the pet rx and buy everything the hard part for me is keeping to a set schedule for medicine .on a side note: they almost make it impossible for a depressed person to chat ,why do they make you sign up to the site?

Hi Guy,
How are you doing now? Are you still with us? Hopefully, you've found someone to talk to. Perhaps in the chat area? That is a spot I cannot reach via cell phone. Lol! Oh well, this site is like a God-send! I'm goin through my own private hell. If it weren't for who has reached out to me, I'd be in MUCH worse shape. Enough about me...
Regarding the guilt you feel? Many of us don't realize that forgiveness means to likewise forgive ourselves. Every one of us knows the pain of causing grief to another. Give your dog a big hug. Talk to her/him. (even if it's just about a crappy day you've had). Whether or not you are understood is an entirely different story--Haha! But animals are like people in the sense that they, too, like to feel needed. Hmm, and they are probably the most forgiving creatures on this earth. I'm sorry you're going through a difficult time. Rest assured, you are not alone here! Hang in there, and keep us informed. People care here--and without the judgment! BTW, what kind of dog is it?
