my ferret is the key to my sanity. i take her out of her cage and play with her, she always nibbles my fingers but then licks them, she licks my lips,my ears.her insane scrambling around gives me endless enjoyment. shes so curious with that cold little nose i cant help but love her with all my heart. i love her more than humans. my Sasha (thats her name) without her i'd be fully lock me in a padded cell insane

Pets are wonderful, aren't they? My dog has saved my sanity more than once... no one can understand the love you can feel for a pet unless they have one. Glad your girl is there for you!

It kind of a no-brainer why it helps the elderly when they bring pets to the nursing homes.
