Depression Understood Forums

I have been giving my thoughts/questions about depression. Now it is your turn to ask your thoughts/questions concern your/our depression.

Depression can be a 'kick-in-the-head' as the saying goes.

Depression keeps me in hiding.

Depression keeps me low and trying so hard to climb out of that hole.

Depression give me no confidence to deal with life.

Depression is not my friend.

Depression is just that, depression.!!!

This may only be my experience but my biggest concern about depression is medication is handed out quickly but therapy has to be looked very hard for. I do not think only medication is the best approach to dealing with or overcoming depression, especially not the over-coming part. I think doctors are really letting depressed patients down here. I could go on about this forever but that's it in a nutshell.
