Tradition I guess, we're slaves to it. Pizza pies I would guess were traditionally round long before they started putting them in square boxes to deliver them to our doors, and nobody thought to break the tradition and fill the corners. Someone will probably read this now and start the innovation as a new publicity stunt and make lots of profit off the idea.
