Making A Difference
Those who now spend time in a body void of youth.
No longer capable of what was.
Great memories and knowledge stored in the shadows
of their minds - wishing for an ear.
Being only me and me only being,
not wanting to cause change; only make a difference.
To give of myself where money has no matter.
To reach out and share a moment with those who have few,
few who take the time.
Life as we now know will become what was.
Longing, waiting for the end of each day.
Waiting for sleep to overcome, and dance one back into time,
releasing the loneliness and fear.
