Peppers with 3 bumps on the bottom are sweeter and better for eating.
Peppers with 4 bumps on the bottom are firmer and better for cooking.

Had no idea that was how to pick out a peppers. Dont like them myself but have a friend who, one of her favorite suppers, is stuffed peppers.

I usually pass or have something else for supper.

I never cooked with peppers at home because my mom never cooked with peppers. Both of my kids like them though.

Now you made me hungry. Haven't done stuffed peppers in a long time, guess what is going down on my shopping list.

I love them, but they don't always like me.... Try just eating the stuffing, not the pepper, very nice.
