THE SQUIRREL
I am sitting in my front yard in the shade of my neighbor’s tree,
A squirrel just came along and waved its bushy tail at me.
I don’t know if it’s a boy squirrel or a girl squirrel that I see,
But I do know that God made it whether it is a he or she.
That squirrel just grabbed an acorn and scurried across the yard.
I’m watching it scamper back and forth and it never does get tired.
It just stopped and looked at me and studied me for a while.
I guess that proves I’m not a nut for it avoided me by a mile.
