The phychartrist ask how i was feeling ,i told him all the things i had
written down ,so he may understand me better ,and i could get more
help as i was being more open ,he listened intently and then looked at his
notes ,he replied by saying we had tryed all avenues of medication and
c,b,t etc ,and unfortunatly he could not offer anything else only his
support in times of crisis,,i cryed openly as i left ,,im devastated and feel
adrift in this dead sea ,,,,,,,,ken

I'm so sorry Ken. When you feel adrift, cast your anchor here and we will support you. You have many friends here who want to help.
I wish I had some brilliant advice but my mind is dead today. Just wanted to let you know that I am here and listening.

oh dear kenny, i know all too well how awful it is when a psychiatrist says there's nothing they can do for you, it happened to me with someone i saw a few years ago, he virtually threw me out and it just cemented my belief that all was hopeless. But conventional medicine and therapy is only the tip of the iceberg, many people find they get better instead though meditation, hypnosis, chinese medicine, accupuncture, support groups, homeopathy, yoga, religion....etc etc, there are many alternative avenues out there and i believe you will find your path

((((Ken)))) Look at it this way. He did offer his suport. And that is very important. There may not be any other form of drug therapy (I"m not a doctor so I don't know) But he is offering to be there for you. He is not giving up on you. He wants you to get better or at least feel better. As we all do.
