ok ill keep this breif ,dont really understand most of it myself ,but ill try
to explain ,at the age of 3 mnths i nearly died i would bring everything back and had to be operated on quite urgently ,part of my intestines had
not formed at birth ,and was collapsed,stopping food getting to my body
this accounts for the terrible 8 inch scar down the middle of my chest/stomach ,looks like sweeny todd did the op ,,now as i grew up it wasnt to much trouble ,apart from the irrittable bowel syndrome i have
,but i knew about that ,but not the big problem ,then again i left home
at 16 and had all that trouble through my life ,you can hardly expect my parents to say ,hang on while your running riot you have a stomach problem that may cause you problems when you get older ,my fault again !,anyway ,when i eat now ,the pain is terrible ,even if i drink about
half a cup of tea ,it feels like ive swallowed a whale and the pain is really
bad ,my intestine is only small and i must have 5 very small meals a day
so it can digest ,anymore and it just blocks up ,and we.ll projectile
vomiting ensues ,so instead of telling anyone i was in pain ,my mind told
me to stop eating ,hence the wieght loss,my daughter told the nurse and the rest is history ,my diet must change ,i must have friut and veg ,
healthy stuff, or im in trouble ,9 stone 6 lbs is not good a weight for any man ,hope this is understandable ,so ill be fine ,and yes i do feel silly
for not looking for help .and what of today ,ive had some nice words said to me here on my return and i do feel really welcome ,home again ,i hope i can bring some light into your darkness everyone ,it does give me so much pleasure ,i hope tommorrow brings something special as todays return to the forum did for me .bless you all (((((my dearest freinds )))))

heya ken, sorry to hear you have been in such awful physical as well as mental pain. hopefully you can find a way of eating small but nutritious meals that will keep you healthy. I know bananas are full of vitamins and minerals and are good at providing energy fast but steadily

Hey Ken, Here in Canada you can get liquid meals like "Boost" or "Ensure" they have all the neccessary vitamins and minerals you need. I don't know what brands you may have in the UK, but they would be good for you to have too. You can sip on them so as not to fill you up too fast.

todays been a good day ,i woke up this morning to snow on the ground
i like snow ,and so do ferrets ,it was my first day alone in charge of the shop ,i got up at 6,am as i was working today ,really cold out in the garden at 6,30am ,walking the ferrets ,imangine me shuffling round
the garden writing I LOVE YOU FRAN ,in the snow with my feet ,so fran
would see it when she woke up ,daft as a brush i am ,,,,

hey robin ,how you doing ,hope your still busy and copeing ok ,ive just been in the chat room again ,most of the talk was about babys .so i didnt stop long ,it seems ok in there ,i would love to have a chat in there but
i dont think i could keep up ,i dont think it would be the same as my
writing here ,but it look ok ,i can see the benifits of being able to talk
and recieve an answer straight away ,lisa is feeling better ,poor mich
is causeing me a lot of concern ,,ive posted to her ,and can only hope
she reach,es out and feels some hope ,the forums are quiet ,but this
time of year is not easy ,i will try to talk to you all as much as i can

Hey Ken, I am doing pretty good. Too busy to have time to think. I do have the weekend off however and I got to say it's lovely being able to take a nap!

hey crybaby its 1.15 pm here in yorkshire england ,ive just checked the girls tyre pressures and oil and water ,im sat in my living room now
watching the snow fall gently ,it wont last long like the snow its self ,but
just for a short while ,i feel happy i love the snow ,it make me be

i know its quiet on here today ,busy with the holiday stuff ,and sadly
a lot of us not feeling very good ,but if i keep posting it may give you a little interest ,and i feel a little less alone also ,its really snowing hard now
and im enjoying it ,im gonna walk the ferrets in about 15 mins for an hour
they like playing in the snow ,they are really like miniture dogs ,

its been very quiet here today ,ive left a few things laying around so if
yoiur feeling down it may be a little interest for you ,ive not been bad today ,im looking forward to my first christmas on the forum ,and i dont
mean this to be hurtful for anyone ,but ive always had to get through it
alone ,and at least i have you my freinds this year ,even if theres no one
on here at least i can post ,normally by now im really quite bad ,only a few days to go ,i think i came here around april time this year ,had my ups and downs i know ,but you have all taken me in and made me feel wanted some of you have put up with a lot ,and still you came and helped

shortly after tea ,fran sat on the sette in the kitchen and asked if i was ok
i looked at her and said yes love fine ,why whats the matter ,oh nothing she said ,i wondered how you were feeling ,so i replied ,we,ll i feel a little down this morning but i just kept quiet and it went away ,then fran said
its just that you seem a bit happier ,she told me id been a little more
chatty and jokey here and there ,,i said well you know i suppose i do feel
sort of better ,you know ,this was nice for me to hear ,i wonder if its the new diet ,im eatings oranges and bananas and stuff some of it i dont like
but i eat it eat ,and the weight is slowly going back on ,ahhh well folks
im gonna have a look in the chat now ,and then the film gremlins is on
im going to give it a watch ,im tired just now ,been busy today shopping
and stuff i have to keep my eye on fran make sures shes not struggling for breath ,she,s a bugger for keeping quiet if shes struggling a little

really really glad that things are going a bit better and that you are noticably brighter, we're a perceptive lot us women...

yeah your right ,sometimes she does ask me how i feel ,and i do tell her
but it was nice for her to tell me that i was looking better ,
i do love her so much ,i try to make her life as easy as possible .

ahhhh well everyone its another day over ,ive been ok today ,my daughters car broke down and it took me 4 hours to fix ,had to take all the dashboard out ,got a bit of neck ache now due to the cold ,but ill
take some cocodamol soon that will sonk me out ,the visitor has been not absent ,but inactive these last two days ,im sure it broke the car ,but i
sorted that out and it didnt get me down ,were going shopping at 6 am in the morning Fran and i ,so she doesnt panic in the busy traffic ,should be
empty roads at that time ,it a expensive lark isnt it ,just pay out all the
time ,i like the lead up to the holiday better than the day it self ,i remember when the girls were small i would be up at crack of dawn
building barbie houses and cars ,and putting the stickers on etc ,running
round the green outside learning them how to ride their bikes ,yes ive had good times ,just have to reach inside and remember
irispective of the visitor ,i have been blessed with so many great things
this illness has made me strong and understanding .im glad i share this life with you my freinds ,we can all learn from each other ,we must laugh soon ,some how we will ,im sure ,so for now GOODNIGHT EVERYONE
