I can't relate with my family

I feel like they don't understand me. It feels suffocating to live with them. They don't support what I like and it feels like I am always the bad person in the family. I don't do drugs, no alcohol, not smoking and I frequenty go to church to hang out with church friends but still they keep on saying bad things about me because they want me to stay at home and don't do anything. Please give me advice or encouragement.

family’s are suppose to be your number 1 supporters and motivate. They guide and protect you. But as you mentions they don’t support the things you do most cases family don’t like the personality that you have developed into, but hey not everyone will but coming from your family- blood related is a different type of rejection. What i’ll suggest is to distance yourself and not overshare. No matter what though still have love for them. Continue being you<3
