I was the smartest guy in my small town. I was picked on. OMG! Ganged up on and ridiculed and hit. When I responded, I was in trouble. They thought it was funny as hell. You don't have to be gay to be a victim of bullying. This went on from second grade to at least my Junior year.

I am 6'2 and weigh over 250. People still try to tease and bully me. If I open my mouth in response I am viewed as obnoxious. They perceive me as obnoxious if I grovel. I have more to write, but lets go slow. It is hard to write. Hard to do anything. I just want to curl up in a comfortable ball and die.

Hello bratweurst. Thank you for sharing your concerns; it takes courage to reach out when you have been hurt in the past. I have gone through minor bullying in the past though I have a feeling my case was not as severe as yours, given the way you've conveyed your feelings and their inappropriate behaviour. I do sympathize with you, however, because I know what it feels like to be essentially ostracized. But please keep in mind that you are not alone here and should you feel the urge to add to your concerns, give it a go. I'll be willing to check back in on you if you need.

I do have some questions for you though. For starters, do you have at least one person, non-family of course, who you consider yourself as being close to? In the past, I've found one person to stick to who I know I could trust and lean on for support. Also, are you undergoing any sort of counseling?
