(((((((((Crystal))))))))) ((((((((((((Gardener)))))))))))) welcome!!! (((((((((Mich)))))))))) so glad you are posting again, been worried about you and you are thought of often too! The forum isn't the same when you aren't here my sister, and so glad you are at least feeling well enough to post again...

Well, apparently they are getting ready to publish my latest piece. Yay! Made homemade pizza for dinner last night and leftovers for today...snowy but not sticking, really yucky day out so will stay indoors. Day at time. Just taking it a day at a time.

That's wonderful news about your latest piece. That must feel so rewarding and give you such a good feeling inside. I am truly happy for you. Keep those good feelings in your heart and keep going one day at a time. You are thought of always.

As someone in my late 40's I can sometimes feel that I've spent quite a number of years achieving what can feel like not very much. Particularly, in the years that I was unemployed. So, perhaps I can understand how you feel (((( Crystalgaze ))))
Although, my " gut instinct " is more to think that it's not simply a matter of a person being " meant " to achieve a certain amount of things at each stage in their life.
Perhaps each person has a path that they need to travel to reach their own " best destiny "? And, that path takes longer for some people than others, and involves different experiences for some people than others. Perhaps it can seem that no ground is being covered, no progress is being made, but, perhaps in some underlying way, " the universe is right on schedule, everything is happening as it should ", and the person is heading in the right direction, at just the right speed, even if it doesn't feel like it.
A good example of this might be Winston Churchill. In, say 1938, he could have been seen as a " has-been ", in the political " wilderness ", banging on about a coming war that nobody wanted to hear about...But, when World War II did come he was just the right man, in the right place to lead the UK through the war.
( No thanks to a particularly careless *!&%$£*%! New York City cabbie who hit and slightly injured Churchill in 1934. Fortunately Churchill made a full recovery, but if the cab had been going faster and Churchill had been killed...?! Not a happy thought!!!!  )
So, is your time " running out quickly ", (((( Crystalgaze ))))? Or, is it taking you exactly where you will need to be, and giving you just the right experiences to be just who and where you need to be? ( Not that those experiences will all be either easy or pleasant, unfortunately. )
Sorry to waffle a bit, I hope that you can see what I mean...? :)
