Hi Uzer,

What a great post. Your intelligence shows when you make a case for all the things that gave your life meaning before, and no longer seem to make a difference.

You seem to have a good head on your shoulders ... ask yourself what would give my life meaning? From experience I can guarantee that it is not weed or tobacco.

The fact that you wanted to be a doctor shows that you care about others. I wanted to be a doctor and got sidetracked by weed and organic chemistry. You got sidetracked by a racist teacher. Both detours suck ... I've forgiven myself for the weed ... have you forgiven the racist? We can do nothing about the past ... but we can work to create a destiny. What would you like to do to make the world a better place?

(gymnasium) at my new school and was still hitting straight As. I met someone, who is still my best friend to this day, and just like me, he had a lust for love and a place to fit in. As time went on, we started ditching school together to hang out with others who we saw as friends. We started smoking cigarettes and weed and we had also started to drink. All at the age of twelve.
