Anyone used that big service center near Maliha Road? Need honest feedback
My 2013 Toyota Prado is due for the 180,000km service which includes timing belt and water pump, and I'm absolutely dreading the cost. I've been driving out to a garage in Al Quoz that I trust, but the round trip from Sharjah takes almost two hours with traffic and I just can't keep doing it. I've noticed a large service center out on Maliha Road near the industrial area, the one with the big sign you can see from the highway. I've driven past it maybe fifty times but I've never heard anyone talk about whether they're actually good or just expensive because they look fancy. A friend of a friend mentioned something about Leading Service Center Maliha but he'd only used them for an oil change so he couldn't tell me much about major work. I'm specifically looking for a place that knows the 1GR-FE engine well, uses genuine or high quality aftermarket parts, and won't cut corners on things like torque specs or coolant bleeding. I don't mind paying a fair price for good work, but I've been burned before by places that look professional but hire inexperienced mechanics. Has anyone here had major engine or timing work done at that center? How was their communication and did they actually fix the problem the first time? Also curious if they let you bring your own parts or force you to use whatever they have in stock. Really don't want to gamble with my engine but also can't keep driving to Dubai for every service. Any real experiences would help a lot.
