complementary medicine

The Compact Oxford English Dictionary defines complementary medicine as "medical therapy that falls beyond the scope of scientific medicine but may be used alongside it, e.g. acupuncture,Meditation, Reflexology etc.

Have you used any other sort of therapy along with your "normal" therapy?
Quite a few years ago I dabbled with aromtherapy and meditation...They certainly helped me to relax and calm me down on bad days.
I haven`t tried any alternative stuff for years now...but I`ve started looking around the internet and found a couple of things that I`ll be looking into.

1 - Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

Youtube is full of videos about this technique.

2 - Dr John Breeding on Depression
Not a therapy as such but some food for thought
I found it very interesting.

It would interesting to hear your experiences. What other things do you do regularly to help you.
See ya soon ;)

Would you also consider herbals a comlimentary treatment. I am a great believer in St John's wort. Check out http://www.stjohnswortblog.com

Trying that one thing did not really do much for me, I usually just watch movies, play video games or listen to music to help calm me down.
