Does anyone recommend GeneSight?
I have experienced very positive benefits in terms of anxiety/depression on Lexapro, but due to persistent and horrible gastritis, I have switched to Sertraline, which so far has been horrendous in terms of having increased anxiety and depression. Rather than do SSRI musical chairs to find one that works, does anyone recommend GeneSight testing to determine which on to try next? I guess has anyone done GeneSight and found it helpful? Thanks in advance!

Re: Does anyone recommend GeneSight?
In my case, the Genesight test was covered completely by US Medicare. But it had only one recommendation: desvenlafaxine, which is expensive, of course. It's a metabolite of a drug I have already taken and which stopped working. To top it off, desvenlafaxine is not working. So no, Genesight has not been valuable to me. I wonder which drug companies are behind it?
